Florafax is a leader in the on-line floral industry.  From the beginning of Hallmark holidays, flowers have been a common and well received gift.  Florafax has taken this gift and enjoyed success with the internet.  The week before Mother’s Day 2001, Florafax averaged 37,000 order a day.

Recently, Florafax has been bought out by a large corporation.   They are attempting to expand what Florafax had already started.  They wanted to own everything from the farms, to the distributors in the flower industry.  A key component for the future growth and success of this company was the use of the internet.  They needed to reach the public in as many ways as possible and the internet was crucial to their success.
